Our story

Where to begin... Jeff and I are a classic office romance story! We met in February 2011 in an audit room in Raleigh and then were both assigned to different clients in tropical Puerto Rico. Not a bad place to spend a few weeks if you ask me. Here is a view from the hotel...

Fun in a tropical rainforest with mystical waterfalls and towers that provide gorgeous views of the island! 

Puerto Rico will always hold a special place in our hearts, as this is where our story begins. We were able to create a strong friendship that later blossomed into much more. Fast forward 2 years and many memories and we come to the present where we have just gotten back from a trip in San Fran where he proposed.  He couldn't have picked a better spot or time...  Rain was in the forecast but Jeff used it in his favor and kept the ring in the jacket the entire day during our bike ride. We had so much fun on the bikes... I was just enjoying the view on our way back to San Fran on the ferrier boat and was clueless the next 15 minutes would mean so much to me! He offered his jacket to keep me warm (it was very breezy and the temp had dropped some) and I felt the ring in the pocket. I turned round and he was on one knee. It is every girls dream and Jeff did not disappoint!

In addition to getting engaged recently, our dream to go somewhere new and different started to become real when Jeff got the offer for a position at PwC London! The date was tentatively set for late spring/early summer... over the course of many emails and calls it was settled June 17, 2013 would be his start date. We are very excited about our upcoming adventures in London and my journey to officially becoming a Pike! Make sure to check back here for pictures and updates!
